These terms apply to your use of davisconstructioncontractors.com and any services provided by Davis Construction Inc. By using this site or requesting services, you agree to the following.
Service Area
Davis Construction Inc. is based in Madison, AL and primarily serves the greater Madison County area and surrounding North Alabama communities. We reserve the right to decline service requests outside our operational area or where project scope falls outside our licensed capabilities. Estimates and Work Authorization
Any estimate, quote, or proposal provided — whether delivered in person, by phone, or in writing — is not a binding contract. No work begins and no service relationship is formed until both parties have signed a written work-authorization form. That signed document governs the scope of work, pricing, timeline, and all other material terms of the project. If there is ever a conflict between information on this website and a signed work-authorization form, the signed form controls.
Payment Terms
Payment expectations are outlined in the work-authorization form for each project. Davis Construction Inc. accepts payment by check, major credit cards, and electronic transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing. For insurance-related work, we coordinate directly with your carrier when authorized — but the property owner remains responsible for any deductible, uncovered portions, or amounts not paid by the insurer within the agreed timeframe.
Scope of Work and Changes
The scope of any restoration or construction project is defined by the signed work-authorization form and any written change orders agreed to during the project. Verbal agreements to expand or modify scope are not binding. If conditions discovered during work require a change in scope or cost, we will notify you in writing before proceeding.
Liability and Licensing
Davis Construction Inc. operates as a licensed contractor under Alabama state regulations and carries appropriate general liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the direct scope of services performed under a signed work-authorization agreement. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, concealed damage discovered after work begins (unless addressed through a change order), or losses arising from circumstances outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under Alabama law.
Insurance Coordination
When you authorize us to communicate with your insurance carrier, we act solely as a service provider coordinating documentation and scope information. We do not provide insurance advice, and we make no guarantees regarding claim approval, payout amounts, or carrier timelines. Final coverage decisions rest with your insurance company.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises related to services provided, we ask that you contact us first at davisheath09@gmail.com or (256) 771-0326 so we can work toward a resolution directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, and any legal proceedings will be brought in the appropriate court of jurisdiction in Madison County, AL.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
